Finals of FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup

People, not just soccer fans, generally consider the FIFA World Cup as an event of at least minor importance.
WHAT THE HECK IT IS NOT OF MINOR IMPORTANCE IT'S THE FIFA WORLD CUP FOR GOODNESS SAKE!!!!
Please excuse the minor interruption, I could not restrain myself. You may notice that I am a soccer fan.
People are aware of the FIFA World Cup. That is to say, the FIFA Men's World Cup. When it comes to the women, however, it's a different story. If you want to prove it, try this: go around the streets and ask people where the last FIFA Men's World Cup was held. Most of them will know it was in Brazil. Then ask them where the last FIFA Women's World Cup was held. I think we can all agree that fewer of them will know that it was in Germany. Now, if you pull out the excuse that the Women's Cup was a while ago and it's normal people don't remember, ask the street-goers where the next FIFA Women's World Cup will be held. (It's next year, so your "long ago" excuse isn't valid.) Not many people will know that it's going to be in Canada.
The same thing goes for the FIFA U-20 World Cups. People in general are less aware about these tournaments, however, the men's is still widely regarded as more important than the women's. This, in part, also has a positive effect, that of making the FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup more innocent, less....feisty, shall I say, which is always nice in this corrupt, vicious world that we live in. I'm not saying that the women run around among butterflies and hug their opponents instead of playing soccer, I'm just saying that there's less money involved, and each player doesn't feel the need to prove themselves better than the rest so that they can have a glorious Messi-like soccer career. This allows them to play for the team, not for themselves.
Just because the FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup is less known, it doesn't mean the players aren't good. It's actually just as entertaining as other soccer games. It's fantastic. They play wonderfully.
This year's U-20 Women's Cup was held in Canada, and the gold-medal and bronze-medal matches were last Sunday, on August 24th.
Congratulations to the German team, who won the Cup and deserved it very much. They were amazing. GO GERMANY!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Imagine winning the FIFA World Cup before you graduate high school. A nice achievement, no?
These girls are not corrupted by fame, they do not turn up their noses at fans asking for autographs, they are innocently happy to be holding that glorious trophy. And I admire them.
They played wonderfully, and I thank them for giving us that.
